Frontend Engineer

with a designer's eye

Shape how Backoffice looks and feels. We're rebuilding the operating system for modern hospitality, and we want you building it alongside the founders.

Engineering Vilnius · Hybrid Full-time

Hospitality is the hardest business to run. Thin margins, impossible logistics, and constant pressure behind every good restaurant and hotel. We’re rebuilding the operating system for it, and we need an engineer who ships fast and cares about what it looks like when it lands.

Here’s how the work splits. The design vision - how the product should look and feel - comes from our founder. The architecture - how the frontend is structured underneath - comes from our lead engineer. Your job is the part that ships: turning that direction into polished, consistent interfaces, building the components and views that bring it to life, and keeping the product feeling considered as it scales. This is a strong-mid role. You won’t be setting the vision or architecting the system on your own. You’ll be the person who makes it real, screen by screen, and makes it good.

What you will do

  • Build complex product interfaces: scheduling calendars, dashboards, onboarding wizards, drag-and-drop workflows, role-based views. Clean, consistent, well-built.
  • Ship production features across Next.js (web) and React Native (mobile) in a multi-tenant, multi-org codebase.
  • Work across the full frontend surface: server components, client data layer, real-time updates, permissions, responsive layouts.
  • Build clean, reusable components within our design system and keep it consistent as the product grows. You’re executing within a structure the lead engineer sets, not architecting it from scratch.
  • Occasionally spin up a landing page or campaign when we need one. Not your main gig, but you can handle it.

Stack

Next.js React React Native

You will thrive here if

  • You’ve shipped real products in React and TypeScript. Not tutorials, production code with users.
  • You write clean, fast UI and care about the details: loading states, empty states, the animation that feels right.
  • You have good execution taste. You can take rough direction rather than pixel-perfect mocks and turn it into something clean and consistent.
  • Low ego, takes direction well. The vision comes from the founder and the architecture from the lead engineer, and you’re at your best building on top of both.
  • You’d rather ship and iterate than polish in private.
  • React Native experience is a real plus. You’ll be working on the mobile app too.
  • You can explain your thinking without a slide deck.

Bonus points

  • GitHub, deployed side projects, anything we can poke at in a browser.
  • Experience maintaining or contributing to a component library or design system that other engineers actually used.
  • A feel for motion. Framer Motion, Reanimated, or similar.

What we offer

  • €3,300–5,000 gross/month, reviewed regularly as we grow.
  • Clear direction, real craft. Vision and architecture are set, so you’re not fighting for scope or guessing at requirements. You get to focus on building things well.
  • Work directly with the founder and lead engineer. No layers, no committees.
  • Real users and real industry. HoReCa is messy and tangible. You’ll see your work running in actual restaurants.
  • Modern stack, no legacy. Latest everything, nothing inherited. You build it right the first time.
  • Hybrid in Vilnius. Office days and home days, whatever shape fits the work.
